Waterford Parc Luxury Apartments, a new 72-unit community located on the Waterford / New London boundary, is open for new residents. Franklin Surveys was the project surveyor from start to finish. We began our contribution by providing existing conditions mapping which served as the project base plan for the planning and design phases. Once the development was approved, our crews quickly mobilized to mark the limits of tree clearing on the ground.
During construction, Franklin Surveys was responsible for the stake-out of nearly all site features, including buildings, parking lots, drainage structures, site grading and utility lines. Over the course of a year, we established and re-established controls and installed reference marks in the form of wooden hubs and grade stakes to make sure improvements were constructed in the right place.

As is common, we were tasked with providing multiple mapping products throughout the development process. In the case of Waterford Parc, we drafted gas and electric easement mapping, foundation as-builts, drainage systems as-builts, and site improvement location surveys, in addition to our initial base plan. One-bedroom, two-bedroom and top floor loft units are now available for lease! The complex also features a clubhouse with fitness center and game room and is located within minutes of numerous attractions and shopping facilities.
