Comprehensive construction surveying services of a new Courtyard by Marriott Hotel
Franklin Surveys provided construction surveying services from beginning of construction right through as-built mapping of a new Courtyard by Marriot Hotel in Southington, Connecticut. We began by mapping existing conditions of the site.
Prior to construction, we provided foundation staking to determine the specific location of the foundation so construction could begin.
Once the foundation was laid, we used a Ramset to drive in nails in the footing to mark out column lines for the foundation and elevator shafts.
This project happens to be on the other side of the street from a project that Kevin Franklin worked on 15 years ago with another firm. We found several of the previously set control points still intact.

Construction is finally complete and the Courtyard Marriott Hotel in Southington, CT is now open!
